ScheduFlex™ Lite is a state-of-the-art airline capacity management software package. It is similar to ScheduFlex™ Pro in that it creates a customized real-time schedule to optimize capacity day by day and market by market. However, it is designed for small-to-medium sized airlines (50 or fewer aircraft), where most flights operate to or from one major key city or hub.
There are two major differences between ScheduFlex™ Lite and ScheduFlex™ Pro:
- ScheduFlex™ Pro considers capacity adjustments both in the form of new flights (extra sections) and equipment swaps between small and large aircraft. ScheduFlex™ Lite only considers equipment swaps.
- ScheduFlex™ Pro considers capacity adjustments globally, optimizing capacity for all markets and dates simultaneously. ScheduFlex™ Lite implements equipment swaps interactively as they are identified by the scheduler.
