SlipStream's principal technology is the patent-pending scheduling software, known as ScheduFlex™ for airline applications and RouteFlex™ for air taxi and air charter. For both application areas, ScheduFlex™ routes capacity dynamically according to demand—day-by-day and market-by-market:

• For airlines, that means adding capacity to markets that are projected to sell out and therefore turn traffic away if the schedules in those markets do not change.
  
• For air taxi and air charter, it means routing an inventory of aircraft to meet mostly unpredictable demand as it surfaces in the booking process.
  

In both cases, the value-add of ScheduFlex™ or RouteFlex™ is in the dynamics of rerouting the aircraft to accommodate the perceived change in demand. The mathematics is the same for both markets, but the underlying business processes are not.

SlipStream has applied for a U.S. patent on the ScheduFlex™and RouteFlex™ technology. There is additional intellectual property, possibly patentable, in the customer-facing capabilities within ResFlex™. These proprietary technologies are not available from any other solution provider.
